As per Sri Lanka export data, list of Sri Lanka’s top 10 exports in 2019 contains Knitted or Crocheted Apparel & Clothing (27.7%), Not Knitted or Crocheted Apparel & Clothing (19.1%), Coffee, Tea, Mate & Spices (9.5%), Rubber (8%), Pearls & Precious Stones (3.6%), Electrical Machinery & Equipment (2.6%), Ships, Boats & Floating Structures (2.5%), Machinery (2.3%), Fish and Crustaceans (1.4%) and Edible Fruits & Nuts (1.1%).

Sri Lanka export statistics show Sri Lanka’s top 10 export commodities in 2019 accounted for 77.8% to overall value of shipments. As per Sri Lanka trade data, Knitted or crocheted clothing and accessories represent the fastest grower among the top 10 export categories, up by 5.8% from 2018 to 2019. Sri Lanka customs data shows Sri Lanka’s top 10 export partners in 2019 accounted for 62.9% to overall value of shipments. From a continental perspective, 35.4% of Sri Lanka’s exports by value were exported to fellow Asian countries while 33.8% were sold to importers in Europe.
